One of the main attractions of St. Moritz is its extensive ski area, which offers over 350 kilometers of slopes serving skiers of all levels. The resort is divided into four main areas: Corviglia, Corvatsch, Diavolezza and Zuoz, each with its own unique terrain and character. Beginners:St. Moritz's Corviglia ski area, located directly west of the town, offers a delightful introduction to skiing with its sun-soaked, easy cruising runs. These slopes provide splendid views of the lake and serve as a gentle initiation for those new to the sport
Intermediates: The Corvigli area is directly accessible from St. Moritz Dorf, presenting an expansive network of long, wide, and snow-sure blue and red runs, making it
a vast intermediate playground.
Advanced: Advanced ski have a plethora of challenging runs to explore, especially at Diavolezza and Lagalb. The area also boasts the famed 1928 and 1948 Olympic Downhill course, which promises to test even the most seasoned skiers.
It is also a paradise for experienced skiers, who will enjoy a wide range of challenging black runs. Snowboarders are offered excellent snow parks and runs that are suitable for jumps and inversions. Beginners can benefit from instruction at the town's ski school, which also offers
lessons for young children.
Snowboarding: Corviglia's extensive network of runs close to St. Moritz becomes a favorite spot for snowboarders, given its more than 155 kilometers of diverse terrains. Furthermore, the snow conditions at Corvatsch Mountain, which is primarily north-facing, make it a preferred spot for snowboarders seeking quality snow and steeper terrains.
Off-piste: St. Moritz offers an array of exhilarating off-piste terrains, notably around Corvatsch Mountain. This area is recognized not only for its superior snow quality but also for the challenging terrains that advanced skiers and snowboarders yearn for.
Glacier skiing: The descent from Diavolezza's summit down the Morteratsch Glacier stands as Switzerland's longest glacier run, plunging 1100m across 10km. This thrilling route promises breathtaking views and unmatched skiing adventures.
